Renting the Hall

If you have browsed our web site for a while you will have read that the Upper Clearwater hall in the last few years has been completely overhauled. The hall itself, an old log building, has been moved and modern washrooms as well as a warming kitchen have been attached. The hall can host a maximum of 64 people at any given time. The kitchen is completely furnished and hot and cold water is available. Below you can see a layout of the building.

Since the hall was reopened in 2011 it has been used for a variety of events like weddings, baby showers, and meetings. The rustic appearance is unique within the North Thompson area. Please check out our Photo gallery and press the button “Fun at the hall”.

Hall rental.JPGIf you are looking for an unforgettable day or weekend to spend with your family and friends you have found the right place. The same is true if you are planning to hold a meeting or seminar. There are enough chairs and tables to utilize the full capacity of the hall. Of course there are a few things to know if you decide to rent the hall. Besides the comprehensive insurance in place all renters do need a special “event insurance”.

You can go to your own Insurance Broker or you can contact Brad Stark at HUB International Barton Insurance Brokers (Dept. 44) to get a quote

If you are planning to serve alcoholic beverages during your event you will need a liquor license, which you can easily obtain online. Just use this link to the BC Government website and follow the instructions.

We offer three different categories in our hall rental policy, which are outlined in our rental agreement. If they don’t cover what you are planning please use the contact form available on our home page to get a quote. Before you start the booking process by filling out a rental agreement available here please check our calendar to make sure the hall is available. We are looking forward to seeing you in our hall.
